There were free carnival rides for a week, and sporting events every day including baseball, canoe races, foot races. There were three parades, not just one - all the crafts in the railroad shops paraded, another parade featured nearby towns, bands and sports, and another parade included the social clubs. After all that time, pilots are itching to get back in the sky and meet up for some good fun, food and fellowship.
